Swati brings 10 + years of holistic work experience in the social impact sector working in various roles with foundations, nonprofits, CSRs and social enterprises.
As an Associate Principal at Sattva, Swati leads the sub-business unit Programme Advisory and Management within the Foundations team. She has built pilot and large-scale solutions that bring together foundations, civil society organisations and the government. With extensive on-ground experience across education, livelihoods, entrepreneurship and gender, Swati is committed to deliver sustainable impact.
Prior to Sattva, Swati led multiple projects on rural livelihood, women empowerment and fundraising at Udyogini. She manged projects like gender-responsive enterprise promotion across Southeast Asian countries with World Bank, research studies on handicrafts run by women and violence against women for Ford Foundation, food and nutrition security for smallholder farmers with ICCO, and women enterprise promotion with PACS and Misereor.
She has also authored a paper on Women Enterprise Promotion basis her work in the domain of gender and livelihood generation.
Swati holds a Bachelor’s in Arts (Hons) Degree in English Literature from Miranda House, University of Delhi. She also earned a Master’s in Arts Degree in Gender and Sexuality in Global Politics at SOAS, University of London. Swati also has an MDP on Social Enterprise from IIM-K.
