Sankaranarayanan Balakrishnan brings 17 years of work experience across the oil and gas and retail sector before he moved to the social impact world.

As the Chief Financial Officer at Sattva, he heads the finance function and PMO covering FP&A, Controllership, procurement, and business operations. 

Before joining Sattva, Sankaranarayanan was the AVP Group FP&A and Head for CoE procurement at Landmark Group where he worked for seven years. He started his career with BPCL in the internal audit function for three years. After this he joined Aditya Birla Retail Supermarket business and worked across business analytics, ERP implementation, corporate finance and regional business commercial. 

He is a qualified Chartered Accountant with CISA certification.
