How large are India’s largest non-profits?
Take a look at this deep dive piece in Mint where we have mapped the current state of the non-profit ecosystem. We analysed the incomes of the 176 largest NGOs in India (2019-20 to 2021-22).
Just about 20 Indian nonprofits had incomes of over ₹100 crore in 2021-22, with foreign-origin #NGOs getting a disproportionate share, and homegrown ones struggling to scale up with uncertain funding sources.
Our analysis throws light on the budgets of India’s topmost NGOs.
